One Arcnode account works across the whole network: the client portal, the community, and any area your account is allowed to reach. Sign-in and account management run on our identity service at backboard.arcnode.dev.

Create an account: sign up with your email address and a password. You can start from the sign-in page, which sends you to the identity service and back again when you are done.

Sign in with any of these:

• Email and password: your everyday sign-in.
• Two-factor authentication (2FA): turn on a TOTP authenticator app for a one-time code at sign-in. You get recovery codes to store safely in case you lose your device.
• Passkeys: register a passkey and sign in with Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or a security key. The passkey never leaves your device, and it is resistant to phishing. You can add more than one.

Forgot your password? Use the reset flow on the sign-in page; it emails you a single-use link. Signing out, or changing your password or credentials, ends your other sessions across the network.

Linking your Discord account to your Arcnode account earns you a Verified badge in the community server. It is optional and is never a way to replace your normal sign-in.

1. Sign in to your Arcnode account (or create one) from the verify page.
2. Choose to connect Discord and approve the request in Discord.
3. Go back to the Discord server and press Verify to receive the badge.

When you link, we store your Discord id, username, display name, avatar reference, and the time you linked. You can unlink at any time. The privacy policy covers exactly what is stored and why.

Access to the client portal starts with an invitation. Your contact at Arcnode sets up a team for your organization and sends an invite to your email address. The invite link connects your Arcnode account to the team; if you do not have an account yet, you create one as part of accepting the invite.

Once you are in the team, sign in as described above and open the client portal. Everything is scoped to your team, so you only ever see projects that belong to a team you are a member of.

The portal has four areas, reachable from the sidebar:

• Dashboard: what needs your attention (open tasks, forms waiting on you), recent activity across your projects, and your project cards with status. A refresh button shows when the data was last updated.
• Projects: every project your team has access to. Open one for its tasks and progress, files, forms, activity feed, and comments. Comments and activity update automatically while you have the page open.
• Team: who has access, their roles, and pending invites. Owners and admins can invite new members or remove them.
• Settings: your name, password, and notification preferences.

Files: upload project files from the project page; uploads are verified server-side before they count. Deliverables from Arcnode appear in the same place, ready to download.

Forms: some projects include forms to collect requirements or content. Answers save per field as you go, so you can fill a form in more than one sitting. After submission a form locks; if something needs to change, request an unlock from the form itself.

• ArcJournal: private desktop journaling for Windows. Project page and download.
• ArcFlux: real-time color tracking and physics for projection mapping. Project page.
• ArcUnzip: unzip and inspect archives right in the browser. Project page.

• Status: live uptime and incident history for the network at status.arcnode.dev. You can subscribe by email to be notified about incidents, and unsubscribe from any notification. Check here first if something looks down.
• Relay: a public, read-only community support surface at relay.arcnode.dev that mirrors selected help threads from the Arcnode Discord server, so answers stay searchable on the web.

Some Arcnode accounts carry a capability role such as admin or moderator. These roles unlock internal surfaces and are granted by Arcnode; a regular account never sees them.

• Admin: manages clients, projects, forms, surveys, analytics, email, and security for the platform.
• Moderator: reviews the community, manages the Discord link for members, and can link, unlink, or moderate accounts.

Staff sign in with the same Arcnode account, secured with two-factor authentication or a passkey; the extra surfaces appear only when the account holds the matching role.

• Sign-in runs on a single sign-on session. The session is a signed token verified by each service against the identity service's public keys, kept in an httpOnly cookie so scripts can never read it. Signing out, or a password or credential change, ends every other session.
• Accounts can add two-factor authentication and passkeys; privileged access is expected to use them.
• Portal access is team-based: you only ever see projects that belong to a team you are a member of.
• Data is processed under GDPR with European infrastructure providers; the privacy policy lists every subprocessor, retention period, and legal basis.
